DK Sweet Hopes

DK Sweet Hopes is a small, loving breeding program of European Shorthairs in Fredericia. The cats grow up as part of the home, and the breeding program prioritizes thorough socialization, good health and a stable temperament. The choice of breeding cats is made with a focus on these qualities, while each kitten is sought to be matched with a suitable family. Pet kittens leave the breeding program after two vaccinations, microchipping and neutering, as well as possible ear tattooing. They are also examined by a chiropractor with a focus on muscles, tendons and skeleton and are registered in Dansk Katteregister. The kittens are insured against illness with Agria, and the insurance can be continued by the new owner. When moving, a contract from Felis Danica, care instructions and a pedigree are included. The starter package also contains some food, toys and a cushion or blanket with a familiar scent from the home. One year of membership in Européklubben and JYRAK can be added. DK Sweet Hopes expects kittens at the beginning of September 2026 and welcomes visits by appointment in Fredericia.
