Devon Bears English Cocker Spaniel breeder in Paignton · United Kingdom

Devon Bears is a small-scale home breeder in Paignton specialising in English Cocker Spaniels and Newfoundlands. The breeding dogs are kept as members of the household and enjoy outings to beaches and open spaces. Licensed by Torbay Council, the kennel presents a family-focused setting for its dogs. Health screening is carried out for every female and for the stud dogs selected for breeding. The breeder gives importance to choosing suitable mating partners, veterinary checks and quality nutrition for both adult dogs and puppies. Consideration is also given to inherited lines, with families encouraged to review evidence of parental health testing. Puppies leave with a detailed puppy pack and continued support for their families. Meetings to choose a puppy are generally arranged when the litter is around three to four weeks old, with deposits taken into account. Above all, the breeder aims to match each puppy’s character and temperament with a suitable home, while keeping litter families connected through optional meet-ups.
