The del bosco santo kennel is dedicated to the Lagotto Romagnolo in Bad Camberg. Its name, meaning “holy forest”, refers to the Heilgenwäldchen below the Kreuzkapelle. Walks through the nearby woodland are part of the dogs’ daily lives and shape the kennel’s surroundings. After Dalmatians had been part of family life for more than two decades, the choice fell on the Lagotto Romagnolo in 2020. The smaller, family-friendly and non-shedding breed impressed with its cheerful, curly and lively nature. Bitch Dolly moved in in October 2020; her daughter Aja remained with the family from her first litter. At del bosco santo, mother and daughter live closely together as part of everyday family life. The kennel is affiliated with the Lagotto Romagnolo Züchtergemeinschaft e.V. and places the well-being of its Lagotto Romagnolo at the centre. Living together with the two bitches is a daily enrichment for the kennel.
