…del Arco Iris del amor is a small, dedicated hobby breeding program for Chihuahuas in Rosenfeld. The breeding program is run on a manageable scale and operates under the protection of and membership in the VDH-VK. The close bond with the dogs and responsible care for each individual animal are at the heart of the program. For their Chihuahuas, the breeding program carefully and patiently selects new people. The respective animal should also have a good feeling about its future environment. Not every dog has to leave: The decision is guided by what is suitable for each individual treasure, rather than by a quick placement. A particularly loving, affectionate and obedient female dog is not part of the breeding program, as she does not feel comfortable in the pack. For her, a new home is only considered if it meets her needs. The careful selection of a suitable environment is also the priority for this dog.
