de Schliekenkieker

The de Schliekenkieker hobby kennel has been dedicated to the Skye Terrier since 1986. Its focus is on the endeavour to breed healthy, even-tempered and cheerful dogs. This aspiration also guides the breeding programme when the path is marked by challenges. The experience gained and encounters made over many years have helped shape its development. The dogs live as part of the household and have access to a large garden. Between walks and other activities, they find room there for exercise, digging, tracking down mice or quiet hours in the sun. Everyday life together with the dogs occupies an important place. Originally based in Remscheid, de Schliekenkieker is now located in Achtrup in North Frisia, not far from the Danish border. The kennel belongs to the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. and focuses on the Skye Terrier.
