De Cara-pattes Swedish Vallhund breeder in Chinon · France

Based in Chinon, De Cara-pattes is a professional kennel dedicated to the Welsh Corgi Pembroke. Holder of the certificate of competence, it develops a selection of dogs registered in the French Book of Origins, paying particular attention to conformity with the breed standard and temperament stability. The dogs and puppies grow up in a family environment, with regular human presence within the household. De Cara-pattes is a member of the French Club for Nordic Dogs and Japanese Spitz. Some breeding dogs also take part in dog shows, so that their qualities can be assessed against the official criteria for the Welsh Corgi Pembroke. The kennel's health monitoring notably includes screening for hip dysplasia and von Willebrand disease. This approach supports the selection work carried out on the breeding dogs. Puppies from the kennel benefit from registration with the LOF, in accordance with the direction announced by De Cara-pattes.
