Darklightstar is a Labrador Retriever kennel based in Farini. It focuses on chocolate, black and yellow coats and plans a very limited number of litters, up to two over the course of the year, with the aim of carefully overseeing the selection of the dogs.
The kennel indicates genetic testing and certifications of freedom from dysplasia and eye diseases for the breeding dogs. The puppies grow up in a family environment, in a setting focused on their serenity and balance. The activity also includes experience in beauty shows and in canine units.
Since 2007 Darklightstar has held the ENCI FCI affix, inspired by the first two Labradors of the kennel, Dark and Light. There are currently some chocolate females and one chocolate male; for these dogs, an application for ENCI Selected Breeding has been submitted, in view of the stated requirements.
