CROCE DEL NORD KENNEL is a Border Collie kennel based in San Benedetto Po that chooses to keep the number of annual litters limited. Selection is understood as safeguarding quality and takes into consideration the health, physical structure, genetic balance and behavioural aptitudes of the breeding dogs.
Dogs intended for breeding are tested for the main hereditary diseases of the breed and are free from dysplasia. The kennel also observes the adults in their daily context, assessing their stress management, sensitivity, emotional stability, relationship with people and way of dealing with the environment.
From the very first days, the puppies grow up with a natural diet, sensory stimuli and constant monitoring. The environment and daily presence are considered important elements of their growth.
