Coton Wehler

Coton Wehler is a small home-based breeding establishment near Roskilde on Zealand, focusing on Coton de Tuléar. Interest in the breed began with the first dog in 2014 and was further strengthened when another female joined in 2018. Since then, the breeding establishment’s goal has been to gain in-depth knowledge of the breed, breeding and responsible breeding. A healthy and caring breeding environment is central at Coton Wehler. The females are DNA-tested for hereditary diseases, examined for patella and have annual eye examinations. Breeding is planned in accordance with DKK's and KSS' breeding recommendations. The breeding establishment has completed DKK's breeder education. The puppies grow up with a strong emphasis on socialisation and a good start in life. They meet people from everyday life, including children and older people, as well as various sounds and traffic. Experiences outside the home and car rides are also part of the early acclimatisation.
