Coton A star is born is a small, serious Coton de Tuléar breeder in Middelfart, where the puppies grow up close to the family’s everyday life. The breeder follows DKK’s and KSS’ recommendations for breeding and completed DKK’s breeder education in 2022, focusing on healthy, well-prepared puppies. The breeding bitch has been DNA-tested clear in the relevant examinations, examined for patellar luxation with a result of 0/0, and eye-tested without remarks every year since 2022. An X-ray examination of the back has also been carried out, with back status K1. Health and a responsible foundation for the breeding are central elements of the breeder’s work. The puppies are thoroughly socialised before leaving and experience the ordinary sounds of the home, including the vacuum cleaner, washing machine and television, as well as time in the garden. They also go on trips to, among other places, the workplace, beach, forest and town centre, and meet different people and dogs. House-training begins when the puppies are ready.
