Casa Carisma Portuguese Water Dog breeder in Klagenfurt · Austria

Casa Carisma is a dog breeder in Klagenfurt for the Portuguese Water Dog. The path to breeding began in 2013 with a Portuguese Water Dog female. The kennel cites eagerness to learn and intelligence as important characteristics of this rare breed. For the A-litter born in May 2017, Casa Carisma describes varied preparation for everyday life. The puppies became familiar with car journeys, noises in the house and garden, and contact with children, adults and other animals; cats were excluded. In addition, house-training and the response to a whistle were practised, and the puppies were intended to be vaccinated and microchipped when handed over. For future owners, the breeder looks for trust, a sense of responsibility and sufficient time for the dog. Repeated visits during rearing were intended to enable an early acquaintance. The ancestry of that litter is documented through the lines of both parents.
