Carskij Borsjatnik

Italian Pointer breeder

Carskij Borsjatnik is an Italian Greyhound breeding kennel established in 1985, organized in the DWZRV, with a focus on health and socialization.

Deutscher Windhundzucht- und Rennverband e.V. (DWZRV)

The breeding kennel Carskij Borsjatnik has existed since 1985. It began in Poland as Borsjatnik and received its current name after moving to Germany. Since 2006, the kennel has been a member of the Deutscher Windhundzucht- und Rennverband (DWZRV). Today, Italian Greyhounds live there; the Borzois kept previously are no longer part of the stock. At the World Sighthound Show in September 2023, Carskij Borsjatnik placed second with the breeding group and fourth in the brace class. Two young dogs from France were added in the same year. Health and tested lineage of the breeding animals are of high importance. There are currently no puppies; the next litter is planned for autumn 2026. The offspring grow up in the garden in the fresh air and are socialized through varied human contact. Visits by serious interested parties are possible after telephone appointment.
