Brooksflight Gundogs

Brooksflight Gundogs is a Huntingdon-based breeder and trainer specialising in working Labrador Retrievers, with more than two decades of experience. The kennel focuses on dogs suited both to family life and to gundog work, drawing on pedigrees that include Field Trial Champions and Field Trial Winners. Every Labrador in the breeding programme undergoes health screening: hip and elbow scoring, annual eye examinations and DNA tests for hereditary conditions. These measures form part of the kennel’s approach to selecting and caring for its dogs. During the shooting season, the dogs work on shoot days as picking-up dogs. This practical activity supports their training for the shooting field and reflects the high standard of work sought by the breeder. Brooksflight Gundogs holds a five-star breeder and boarder licence from the local council.
