Brave Moon's Coton de Tulear breeder in Frederikshavn · Denmark

Brave Moon's is a small home breeding kennel of Coton de Tuléar in Frederikshavn. The kennel has held its kennel name since 2009, and the first litter arrived in 2011. The dogs live closely integrated into everyday home life, where care, common sense and the well-being of the breed form the framework for the work with puppies. Health is given high priority in the breeding programme. The breeding dogs are examined, among other things, for patella and eyes, and are DNA-tested for the diseases that can be tested for in the breed. Puppies are bred according to the recommendations of DKK's and KSS', and emphasis is also placed on the other breeding partner being DNA-tested. The puppies are introduced early to different environments, people, car rides and walks on a lead. Continued puppy training and socialisation are an important part of the kennel's approach. Guidance is also provided on caring for the long-haired Coton's coat, including washing, drying and relevant tools. Showing is also a valued hobby for the kennel.
