Tibet Terrier Bous-Thun

The Tibet Terrier Bous-Thun breeding kennel in Herten is dedicated to the Tibetan Terrier. The enthusiasm for this breed began in 2005 with the arrival of the first female dog. This developed into the idea of a hobby breeding program, which has been actively operated since 2009. The first female dog passed away in 2020 at the age of over 15 years, but remains an influential part of the breeding history. Today, both dogs bred by the kennel and animals from other breeding programs enrich the pack. The joy of the breed and of breeding has continued to grow over the years. Tibet Terrier Bous-Thun is registered with the International Club for Tibetan Dog Breeds e.V. and continues breeding with a special bond to the breed. The puppies grow up in a family environment and become familiar with everyday life and the individual dogs in the pack at an early age. This gives them careful imprinting and socialization before they move into their new home. Even after they leave, the kennel remains available to former prospective owners and the dogs’ families for support; many friendships have developed from these contacts.
