Black Thistle

Black Thistle is a dog breeder in Slangerup focusing on Skye Terriers. With a DKK breeder education and experience dating back to 1986, the kennel works for dogs that are healthy and well-functioning while also having the breed’s distinctive expression and temperament. Over the years, the breeding programme has contributed more than 200 dogs that have become family dogs. The kennel highlights a breeding line spanning ten generations and a long-term effort in which well-being, breed type and behaviour constitute important guiding principles in its work. Black Thistle regularly shows its dogs at official shows in Denmark and also frequently participates in events abroad. The kennel is happy to share its knowledge of the breed and its breeding with interested people who would like to hear more about the dogs.
