Austrian Border

Austrian Border is a Border Collie kennel based in Krenglbach that breeds according to the guidelines of the Club für Britische Hütehunde. The kennel is recognized there; the association is affiliated with the ÖKV and the FCI. When selecting breeding dogs, careful pairing and health requirements are the main focus. Among other things, possible hereditary risks such as CEA, KAT, PRA, CL, TNS, MDR1 and HD are taken into account. The aim is to limit hereditary-related difficulties as early as possible. The litters are also inspected by a club breeding supervisor before they leave. The puppies grow up in the house and are not given away before the age of ten to twelve weeks. They are then dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and receive an EU pet passport as well as a pedigree. Austrian Border places importance on healthy, balanced and eager-to-learn dogs with social compatibility, agility and a breed-typical appearance.
