auf Maien

The Maien kennel is dedicated to the Landseer breed and is based in Schwarzenholz in Saarland. Since February 2000, the kennel has been run as a manageable hobby breeding operation. The focus is on a small, carefully supervised breeding program. The kennel belongs to the Deutscher Landseer Club (DLC) e.V.; membership has existed since 1997. Over the course of the breeding program, several litters were raised, including the F-litter. Among others, males emerged from the first litters that developed particularly positively. In addition to breeding, auf Maien was active in the Deutscher Landseer Club for many years. This involvement included duties in training and in the instruction of trainers, as well as activities in press relations, as a special show manager, and in breeding supervision. This club work complements the long-standing involvement with Landseer breeding.
