Aquilegias Spanish Greyhound breeder in Ugerløse · Denmark

Kennel Aquilegias in Ugerløse breeds Galgo Español with great emphasis on the breed’s characteristic type. The breeding work encompasses temperament, conformation and health, and the dogs undergo heart scans, eye examinations and DNA testing for colour before being used in breeding. The kennel has completed DKK's breeder education. The breeding dogs have been imported from experienced breeders in Spain with the desire to preserve the breed in accordance with its country of origin. This gives Aquilegias an international collaboration with Spanish breeders and the opportunity to continuously share knowledge and experience about Galgo Español. The dogs have achieved high awards at shows and in lure coursing, both in Denmark and internationally. Aquilegias works purposefully and sets high standards for its breeding. Emphasis is placed on development, cooperation and training, as well as on the dogs’ mental and physical well-being as part of the kennel’s long-term vision.
