Applebycarr Labrador’s is a Labrador Retriever breeding kennel based near Appleby-in-Westmorland, in the rural Eden Valley. Licensed at five-star level by Westmorland & Furness Council, the kennel draws on more than a decade as a Kennel Club Assured Breeder and places breed improvement at the centre of its work. Health and temperament are presented as essential priorities for every puppy. The breeding dogs undergo the health assessments available through The Kennel Club and the British Veterinary Association, with the aim of meeting standards that go beyond the relevant requirements. The kennel is also insured, and its carers hold Ofqual Level 3 canine first-aid training through the iPet Network. Dogs live as part of the household, while puppies are reared indoors and can also access outdoor space. Continuous care is provided in the home, day and night, with attention given to welfare throughout the dogs’ lives and to the early development of each litter.
