Altmark Leos

Altmark Leos is a small Leonberger kennel with many years of experience in handling dogs. The family tradition, initially shaped by Collies, Bobtails and Bearded Collies, continues to instill a sense of responsibility and respect for animals in the kennel. Since 2011, Leonbergers have been the focus. The establishment of its own Leonberger breeding program began in 2018. Following successful shows and a breeding approval, the first litter was born in 2020. In the following years, further litters were born. Several female offspring received breeding approvals and continue to be supported at the kennel. Shows are an integral part of Altmark Leos’ journey. Dogs from the kennel have achieved junior and champion titles at national and international level, as well as CACIB successes. The breeding program is affiliated with the Deutscher Club für Leonberger Hunde e.V. and continues to devote itself to the breed with care.
