Aavistuksen

Aavistuksen is a kennel focused on breeding Biewer Yorkshire Terriers, with its work based on long-term dedication and a strong affection for the breed. Breeding work has been carried out purposefully since 1991, while cherishing the breed’s distinctive characteristics. Breeding dogs are selected based on conformity to the breed standard, health, and a balanced temperament. The dogs’ success in shows is also taken into account in the breeding program, and the parents are required to be of high quality. In this way, the kennel aims to support the well-being of Biewer Yorkshire Terriers and the preservation of the characteristics typical of the breed. Aavistuksen received the Vuolasvirta Breeder Award in 1998. In addition, the kennel was awarded the Breeder Award by Suomen Koirankasvattajat ry in 2012. These recognitions reflect the long continuity of the breeding work and the appreciation it has received.
