A menu for every age
Needs change over time
Puppy : Small-format growth food in three to four meals.
Adult : Two meals adjusted to activity.
Senior : Digestible and slightly less energy-dense food.
Which food?
Kibble, wet food, or home-cooked diet?
Premium kibble for small active dogs is well suited. Very sporty dogs can receive a food richer in energy.
Amounts

The ration depends on weight, age and above all activity; it is divided into two meals.
| Weight | Daily amount | Meals/day |
|---|---|---|
| 7 - 8,5 kg | 105 - 135 g | 2 |
| 8,5 - 10,5 kg | 120 - 155 g | 2 |
| 10,5 - 12 kg | 140 - 175 g | 2 |
Change
Managing the food transition
Change food gradually over about a week.
Hydration
Water: do not overlook it
Fresh water at all times, and always water during sports activities.
Little extras
Treats, in moderation
Treats are valuable for training; they are deducted from the ration.
Good habits
For a top-notch bowl
- Slightly increase the ration on sports days.
- Do not feed just before exertion.
- Use part of the ration for training.
Never give
Chocolate, grapes, onion, garlic, xylitol, alcohol and cooked bones should be avoided.
