A price too good to be true?
- An abnormally low price may conceal an unverifiable origin, insufficient socialization, or the absence of screening tests for the parents.
- The white coat should not, by itself, justify a price surcharge, since it defines the breed.
- Never pay a deposit without clearly identifying the breeder, visiting or verifying the breeding facility, and obtaining a written contract.
