The Akai Okami Shou kennel, listed in Castel Madama in the Rome area, is dedicated to the selection of the Akita Inu. The project draws inspiration from the memory of Shou, an Akita whose bond with the kennel helped shape a careful and responsible approach towards future families.
The kennel’s philosophy values the relationship between dog and people, founded on respect, communication and rapport. The Akita Inu is described as a complex and special dog, in which strength, balance, determination, calmness and elegance come together, without forgetting gentleness, dignity and courage.
The selection is carried out by considering the genetic, health, behavioural and aesthetic aspects of the breed. The kennel’s objective is to introduce Akita Inu capable of accompanying families through meaningful life experiences, while respecting the profound characteristics of this Japanese breed.
