The Kennel Club

The Kennel Club is a dog breeder based in Newark, working with Border Collies, West Highland White Terriers, Irish Terriers and Blue Bay Shepherds. It holds a five-star breeder licence from Newark & Sherwood Council and participated in the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme until that programme ended on 31 December 2024. Its breeding approach centres on producing healthy, well-socialised puppies. Parent dogs undergo extensive screening, including eye examinations, hip and elbow assessments, and comprehensive DNA panels. Every litter is raised within the family home, giving the puppies early experience of a domestic environment. Before joining their permanent homes, the puppies are microchipped and examined by a veterinary professional, with a health certificate supplied. They also leave with their first vaccination, complimentary Petplan insurance, a puppy contract and a puppy pack.
