The Enci kennel, based in Vanzaghello, is dedicated on an amateur basis to the Golden Retriever and has an ENCI affix. The activity focuses on the selection of the breed and on the living conditions of its dogs.
The breeding dogs undergo testing for the genetic diseases specific to the Golden Retriever. They have also undergone the FSA echocardiography required for breeding and are free from hip and elbow dysplasia, with an A0 classification. The dogs’ DNA is deposited with ENCI.
The puppies are entrusted with a pedigree, microchip, first vaccination, Giardia test, antiparasitic treatment and puppy kit. The dams live with the family, have only one litter per year and do not exceed four over the course of their lives; the kennel does not use cages.
