# Terms of use

Last updated: May 11, 2026

## Purpose

These Terms of use govern the use of pedibase.com, a platform connecting professional breeders with people looking to adopt a dog or cat.

By accessing the website and using its features, you accept these Terms of use without reservation.

## Access to the website

The website is free to access for anyone with an internet connection. Users are responsible for their own connection costs.

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend the website for maintenance or in the event of force majeure, without prior notice.

## User account

Creating an account is optional and free. It gives you access to additional features:

- Save your favorite breeders
- Get alerts about new litters
- Contact breeders directly

## Listed breeders

All breeders listed on the platform are registered in the national register with a SIREN number. We verify this information before publication, but cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of all content published by breeders.

Transactions and commitments are made directly between users and breeders. Pedibase acts solely as an intermediary and cannot be held liable for any disputes.

## Content and ownership

All website content (editorial text, design, and structure) belongs to Aurion SARL or its partners. Reproduction requires prior written permission.

Photos and descriptions of breeders are provided by the breeders themselves and remain their intellectual property.

## Limitation of liability

The website is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that it will be completely error-free.

Pedibase cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the website or the information it contains.

## Changes

We reserve the right to change these Terms of use at any time. Users should review them regularly. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

## Applicable law

These Terms of use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt to reach an amicable resolution, the French courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
