# Feeding your Spanish Hound well

The Spanish Hound needs a balanced, high-quality diet, adapted to its age, size and level of physical activity. Expenses related to hunting must be taken into account without maintaining a high ration outside periods of exertion.

## Their needs change as they grow
- Puppy: Choose a complete diet suited to growth and divide the intake into several meals according to the veterinarian's advice.
- Adult: Adjust the ration to weight and activity level, with a controlled increase during hunting periods.
