# Feeding your Slovak Cuvac well

The Slovak Cuvac needs a quality diet adapted to its size, age and physical activity. Its diet must support its muscle mass, preserve its joints and avoid energy excesses that would promote overweight.
A menu for every age
## Their needs change as they grow
- Puppy: A large-breed puppy diet helps support steady growth without excessive speed.
- Adult: The ration must cover maintenance, daily activity, and the maintenance of healthy muscle mass without promoting overweight.
- Senior: With age, a more digestible food and an adjusted energy density can help preserve mobility and body condition.
