# Feeding your Kishu well

The Kishu needs a complete and digestible diet, adapted to its age, its weight and its activity level. The quality of the ingredients and the regularity of meals matter more than an abundant ration.
A menu for every age
## Their needs change as they grow
- Puppy: a growth diet for a medium dog helps support development without excess energy.
- Adult: the ration must be adjusted to actual activity and to maintaining a lean and muscular silhouette.
- Senior: a more digestible food and weight monitoring help preserve comfort and vitality with age.

## Kibble, wet food, or homemade meals?
Complete, good-quality kibble for an active medium-sized dog generally suits the Kishu very well. In the case of home-prepared or mixed feeding, the balance of the ration must be validated with a veterinarian.
