# Feeding your Jack Russell Terrier well

The diet of the Jack Russell Terrier must be adapted to its level of activity. A very active dog does not have the same needs as a more homebody individual. This breed can be given good-quality commercial food, in the form of kibble or wet food.
A menu for every age
## Their needs change as they grow
- Puppy: Small dog growth food, in three meals, with lots of educational play rather than too many treats.
- Adult: Energy ration on very active days, more measured at rest to stay slim.
- Senior: Digestible food, while monitoring teeth, weight and mobility.

High-quality kibble or wet food are suitable for the Jack Russell Terrier, provided they are chosen according to its age, activity and body condition.
