# Feeding your Field Spaniel well

The Field Spaniel needs a good-quality diet, adapted to its medium size, its activity level and its age. Its status as an enduring and dynamic dog justifies a balanced ration, sufficiently rich in digestible proteins and well adjusted to the actual energy expenditure.
A menu for every age
## Their needs change as they grow
- Puppy: Growth food adapted to the expected size, divided into three meals, without unnecessary calcium supplementation.
- Adult: Controlled ration in two meals, adjusted to the ideal weight and actual activity.
- Senior: Digestible food, possibly less energy-dense, with joint and dental monitoring.
