# Feeding your Clumber Spaniel well

Its diet must support its musculature while avoiding excess weight, particularly unfavorable for its joints. Intake should be adjusted according to age, weight, sterilization, and activity level.
A menu for every age
## Their needs change as they grow
- Puppy: Choose a suitable growth formula and split the ration into several meals, without promoting overly rapid growth.
- Adult: Maintain two daily meals and adjust the quantities to the ideal weight and actual activity.
- Senior: Favor an easily digestible diet, moderately energy-dense and adapted to the condition of the joints after veterinary advice.

## Kibble, wet food, or homemade meals?
A complete, good-quality diet, formulated for an adult dog of medium to large size and suited to moderate activity, is appropriate. For the puppy, a controlled-growth formula helps support steady bone development without excessive weight gain.
