# Feeding your Bombay well

The Bombay's diet must be adjusted to its lifestyle, its morphology and its state of health. As it expends relatively little energy, a controlled ration is essential to limit the risk of being overweight.
A menu for every age
## Their needs change as they grow
- Kitten: Complete growth food, divided into several small meals.
- Adult: Controlled ration, adapted to sterilization and indoor living.
- Senior: Highly digestible food, while monitoring kidneys, teeth and appetite.

## Kibble, wet food, or homemade meals?
A complete and balanced feline diet, chosen with the help of a veterinarian if necessary, must cover its needs without excess calories. Quality and quantity matter particularly for this not very athletic indoor cat.

## How much should you feed?
The daily ration must be determined according to the cat’s weight, activity, age and state of health. A veterinarian can help set an appropriate amount and reassess it if the weight changes.
