# Feeding your Bengal well

The Bengal needs a diet rich in good-quality animal proteins to support its muscle mass and activity level. The ration must be adapted to its age, weight, lifestyle and daily energy expenditure level.
A menu for every age
## Their needs change as they grow
- Kitten: A diet rich in energy and protein is necessary to support growth and muscle development.
- Adult: The ration must cover the needs of an active cat while maintaining a stable body condition.
- Senior: The diet must remain highly digestible, adapted to actual activity and to veterinary monitoring related to age.

## Kibble, wet food, or homemade meals?
Premium kibble or wet food rich in animal proteins generally suits the Bengal well, with a formulation adapted to active cats. A mixed diet can be considered if it remains well balanced and adjusted with the veterinarian's advice.
