FCI affiliated12 years of experience The “von Spiesen” kennel, run by Katrin, is located in Saarland and is dedicated to the Phalène, the drop-eared variety of the Continental Toy Spaniel. Phalènes have been part of Katrin’s life since 2002; since 2014, she has officially been running the kennel, and the kennel name has been internationally (FCI) protected since 2014. The kennel lists the Papillon Phalène Club Deutschland e.V. (PPCD), the VDH and the FCI as its associations. Breeding is carried out in accordance with Article 11 of the Animal Welfare Act, with veterinary approval and proof of expertise. When selecting breeding dogs, health, a friendly temperament and appearance are taken into account; the breeding dogs are tested for patellar luxation (PL) and PRA. The puppies grow up with plenty of heart and love; the litters are documented on the website by letter.
