The dog breeding kennel von der Thörlhöhe is based in Mitterndorf in the Styrian Salzkammergut and is dedicated to the Flat-Coated Retriever. The starting point of the breeding plan was a female dog of this breed kept there. The focus was on a carefully prepared litter of black and brown Flat-Coated Retrievers. A litter was planned for the end of March 2013. The announcement referred to puppies in the two coat colours planned for the breed, Black and Brown. Interested parties could already contact the kennel in advance of the litter planning. The kennel was a member of the Österreichischer Retriever Club (ÖRC), the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the Österreichischer Kynologenverband (ÖKV). The dogs were to be handed over from the eighth week of life. Complete documents, vaccinations and a microchip were planned for the handover.
