Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV) e.V. Von der Osterwiese in Tömmelsdorf looks back on around 40 years of breeding and training; the kennel has existed since 1985. It is dedicated to Old German Shepherd Dogs in the coat varieties Stock Coat and Long Stock Coat. Careful rearing and daily life together with the dogs shape its work. The aim is to produce healthy, strong-nerved and highly driven dogs that are consistently eager to work while also displaying a balanced temperament. Particular attention is paid to preserving the German Shepherd Dog as a working dog. In training, the respective aptitudes are individually encouraged and utilized. The dogs are intended to be suitable for service, sport and life as family dogs. The training is supported by positive and joyful cooperation with the dogs.
