Deutscher Teckelklub e.V. The von der Hallwanger Pferdekoppel breeding programme in Alpirsbach has been dedicated to smooth-haired standard Dachshunds since the first litter in 2008. In a small family setting, Dachshunds are bred in the colours red, black and tan, and brown. Occasionally, there is also a litter with a spotted pattern referred to as merle. The dogs grow up in the house and garden. From a young age, the puppies receive careful socialisation that prepares them for their future everyday lives. The rearing focuses on balanced companion dogs that can find their place in family life. In addition to being kept as family dogs, the Dachshunds can also be prepared for hunting tasks. The breeding programme is affiliated with the Deutscher Teckelklub e.V. and combines its many years of experience with family-based rearing of smooth-haired standard Dachshunds.
