Pinscher-Schnauzer-Klub e.V. The von der Geistermühle kennel breeds Giant Schnauzers near Meßkirch. On a former farm, an approximately 3,000-square-metre property offers the dogs space for exercise, play and retreat. A balanced temperament is the priority. Puppies grow up with close guidance and learn about various stimuli early on. Contact with people, children and other animals is just as much a part of this as the sounds of vehicles and equipment. Toys, different floor coverings, as well as space to explore and rest, support their development. Cleanliness is an integral part of raising them. The breeding program is guided by the working-dog characteristics of the Giant Schnauzer: play and prey drive, temperament, health and willingness to perform. Breeding partners are selected accordingly. The dogs are presented at national and international dog shows. Continuing education supports the goal of further developing the breed.
