Both are in their 13th year of life, are reportedly fit and continue to spend their everyday lives actively. The females are an integral part of life together at the kennel. On 5 March 2022, Charlotte Mae von der Flurau gave birth to a litter of seven puppies. The litter consisted of three males and four females. The female and her puppies were doing very well after the birth.
