Schweizer Sennenhund-Verein für Deutschland e.V. The von der Asbacher-Höhe kennel is based on a farm in Lower Bavaria in the Rottal-Inn district and is dedicated to the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. After the family had been looking for a larger dog to live with them, the first female dog of this breed moved in in 2017. Another female dog from the first litter remained in the kennel. The kennel operates according to the guidelines of the Schweizer Sennenhund-Verein für Deutschland e.V. as well as those of the VDH and FCI. The focus is on even-tempered, healthy and sound Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs that can lead as long a life as possible. The breeding programme is thus oriented towards health and a stable character. Each litter is inspected by the responsible breeding supervisor. Before being handed over, the puppies receive the required vaccinations, a microchip and deworming. From the very beginning, importance is placed on socialisation and sufficient exercise. Carefully selected, loving homes are considered for placement; afterwards too, the breeder supports the new owners with any questions.
