Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. The Hovawart breeding program von den wilden Teichen is located on an old farmstead near Schneverdingen in the Heidekreis district. The spacious, somewhat secluded farm offers the dogs plenty of room. The idea of breeding arose through Körveranstaltungen of the Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V.; breeding approval was achieved in 2016. The kennel name recalls the farm’s pond complex and former marl pits in the surrounding area, from which natural ponds and biotopes emerged. The dogs live as part of everyday family life and also have quiet places to retreat. The puppies grow up in the living room and kitchen and explore the farm grounds. Opportunities to play and dig, encounters with cats and Coburger Fuchsschafe, as well as impressions of the field path running past, accompany their early development. Visitors and contact with children complement their socialization. At around eight to ten weeks, they move to their new families.
