Rosemarie and Siegfried run it as a family hobby; the dogs arrived in 2008, and the registered breeding began in 2010. The breeding is registered under the kennel name “Havaneser von den Jokita's” with the Club der Kleinhunde Ebern e.V. (CDK). All breeding animals are examined for hereditary diseases such as patellar luxation and PRA and are used only until they are seven years old at most. The puppies grow up as full-fledged family members in the house and remain with the family for at least ten weeks. When they leave, they receive a chip, vaccinations, an EU pet passport, a pedigree and a health certificate, as well as starter food. Before they leave, a veterinary physiotherapist also examines the puppies. Personal contact is preferred; early contact by telephone or WhatsApp is recommended.
