He acquired his first German Shepherd Dog, Gina vom Königswalder Eck, and began breeding in 1965. The founder died in 2010; a son now maintains the website and takes photographs. The website has existed since around 2001 and lists breeding females, young females, stud dogs and young males, as well as former dogs from the kennel. The Cara line is significant and branches into several lines. The dogs are presented at dog shows and working trials, including in Pasewalk, Olfen and Eichwalde, as well as at the 2022 Sieger Show.
