Both parents were described as fully suitable for breeding; HD A2 and clear findings for PRA/KAT were also stated for them. A Clear result for FN was also given for the male. According to the presentation, the female comes from a breeding line with hunting aptitude, while the male descends from a successful hobby breeding program. The puppies were described as healthy and lively after birth. The rearing included vaccinations, microchipping and deworming. The puppies were to receive pedigrees from the Jagdspaniel-Klub and be socialized in an age-appropriate manner. On request, an initial introduction to hunting was also planned. The puppies were scheduled to be handed over around mid-April 2011.
