Vom Teuto Teckel is a family-run Dachshund kennel in Lengerich. The focus is on Wirehaired Dachshunds in chocolate, brown, dry-leaf and boar colors. The dogs live as cherished family members and accompany everyday life while playing, running, romping and relaxing together. The kennel gained its first show experience in April 2007. Two Excellent CACIB ratings were achieved; the female Maxi additionally received the title Teutoburger-Wald-Sieger. The positive results and the interest in breeding offspring encouraged the kennel’s further planning. With Maxi’s first litter, the breeding of Wirehaired Dachshunds under the name vom Teuto Teckel began in 2007. Another litter followed in 2008. Maxi proved to be a caring mother who looked after her puppies attentively. The breeding history thus combines family life with the aim of continuing the mentioned color varieties of the Wirehaired Dachshund.
