Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. The Yorkshire Terrier kennel vom Strohblumengarten is a small, family-oriented breeding establishment in northern Thuringia, not far from the Kyffhäuser Mountains. It belongs to the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. and breeds within the framework of the VDH and FCI. The breeding establishment received its approval in 2009; the first litter followed in 2010. The kennel name refers to the golden-yellow strawflowers, whose colour resembles the tan of the Yorkshire Terrier. Since its first experiences with the breed, the breeding establishment has also devoted itself to shows and the careful selection of suitable stud dogs. The aim is to come as close as possible to the breed standard. The puppies grow up in the house with a garden, in close contact with the dogs already present as well as other animals. Particular attention is paid to their nutrition and health. When they leave from the twelfth week onwards, they have been dewormed several times, microchipped and vaccinated. They receive an EU pet passport, a pedigree, a puppy box and food for the initial period. Even after the puppies have been handed over, the breeding establishment continues to advise the new families.
