Deutscher Club für Kooikerhondje e.V. The vom Stolzen Löwen kennel in Bokelrehm is dedicated to the Nederlandse Kooikerhondje. It is still at the beginning of its breeding work and had its first litter with four puppies in January 2025. Another litter, planned as the B-litter, is scheduled for early 2026. The focus of raising the puppies is a varied early imprinting. The puppies grow up in close contact with large Leonbergers and also get to know pigs, geese, chickens, sheep and cats. This is complemented by familiar everyday stimuli, such as household noises and different floor surfaces. Vom Stolzen Löwen is affiliated with the Deutscher Club für Kooikerhondje e.V. The breeding programme deliberately makes socialisation varied: In addition to usual everyday impressions, the young dogs encounter several animal species and gain experience on different surfaces.
